welcome

Welcome to Two Rivers Siberians!  We raise beautiful Siberian kittens.  We are a hobby breeder and our cats are part of our family and loved very much.  Our kittens are raised underfoot with love, kindness, lots of attention, and as a result, our Siberians are extremely well socialized.

For many years we bred and raised English bulldogs, but after intensive research, turned our attention to African Servals.  We were hooked from the moment we met our first cat.  Now, we are also drawn toward hypoallergenic Russian Siberians.   The incredible bond that Siberians forge with their human friends, makes them an instant favorite pet.    Please get to know our Siberians through the descriptions throughout this website and contact us for further details.

Siberians

The Siberian Forest Cat is well suited to any loving family that appreciates an affectionate, faithful, hypoallergenic feline.  Siberians have a solid, muscular body with big round feet adorned with tufts of fur on the toes.  They also stand out with their large golden-green or blue eyes, tufted ears, and neck mane.  Physically, they adapt to most climates, but keep them indoors to protect their well-being.  Siberians mature slowly and do not reach their full physical development until they are 5 years old.  Some males can reach up to 25 pounds.  They are agile, powerful, and easily leap to the top of refrigerators!

king

nikolai

Meet our king, Nikolai, or "Niko" as we like to call him.  Niko was born in June 2015 and is a beautiful example of a black smoke Siberian male.   He possesses a luxurious thick, medium-long coat that typifies the breeding from a cold place such as Russia.  Niko's golden eyes are round, large, and expressive.

allergies

While searching for a hypoallergenic cat due to cat allergies within our family, we discovered the beautiful Siberian.   Siberian cats are considered to be hypoallergenic, as many people with cat allergies may have little or no reaction to them.  We have found this to be true within our family.

As cats groom themselves, the saliva dries on their fur and skin which then flakes off and travels over the room.  Siberian cats produce less of the Fel-D1 protein in their saliva which is generally what causes allergic problems.  For many allergy sufferers, this means they can finally have a cat in their life.
